Our History

We trace our group’s humble beginnings in 1981 with the founding of STA. ANA ENTERPRISES (SAE), a medical supplies distribution company. It initially served the Provinces of Pampanga and Benguet. Through perseverance and proper work ethics, SAE gained the trust of many hospitals, clinics, doctors, government institutions and other suppliers to become a major medical supplies and diagnostic distributor in Central Luzon. SAE then partnered with multinational companies and carried their products exclusively.

1996 was a milestone year for SAE. The company saw the rising opportunity in the underserved dialysis industry in the Philippines. SAE then collaborated with a group of doctors from Cleveland, Ohio, USA to form St. Theresa Dialysis Center, Inc. (STDCI) in Quezon City, Philippines in July 1996. It is considered as one of the pioneer hemodialysis centers in the country offering quality and affordable treatments to patients diagnosed with end-renal stage disease.

At the turn of the century, STA. ANA ENTERPRISES was renamed STA. ANA HEALTHCARE PLUS CORPORATION (SAHPC). From a small business, the company was ripe for expansion. The company continued to penetrate markets in hard-reached areas and provinces. By the end of 2010, SAHPC covered Northern Metro Manila, Central and Northern Luzon.

2012 is a banner year for Sta. Ana Medical Group. After experiencing strong growth in the past few years, the company underwent major corporate restructuring to cater to its growing businesses. SAHPC, a major player in Central and Northern Luzon, is now poised to penetrate the whole of Metro Manila and the Southern Luzon provinces. Simultaneously, STDCI expanded and opened its new center in San Fernando, Pampanga. The group also launched LABPLUS INC., its own diagnostic center to address the increasing demand for affordable clinical diagnostic services.

Now more than ever, Sta. Ana Medical Group is ready. As the group sets its sight to achieve their vision to be the country’s leading medical distributor, dialysis and diagnostic services provider, our company is inspired to do and be more. Our people will be rigorously trained to perform excellent customer service. Our management will continue to support our partners by tapping into bigger markets and exciting new opportunities. Sta. Ana Medical Group will continue to be ready to push for the overall betterment of the Philippine healthcare industry.
